Roz serves as Division Chief of Research for Emergency Medicine at UVM's Larner College of Medicine, where she built a research program that now manages over $13 million in funding. She directs the Emergency Medicine Research Associate Program.

Her research focuses on low-barrier access to care, starting medication for opioid use disorder in the ED, healthcare disparities, and workplace violence in the emergency department.

Michelle is a nursing professional development practitioner in the UVMMC ED. A native Vermonter, she started as a volunteer EMT before working in adult critical care, rapid response, and emergency medicine. She co-directs the UVMMC TNCC/ENPC program, which reaches nurses across Vermont and New York.

Outside work she's with her growing family - three boys and a little girl on the way - or stealing away to Montreal with her husband.

An ENA member since 1997, Matt has served Vermont ENA on the Education, NERS planning, Government Affairs, and Membership committees, and twice each as President-Elect and President.

He is Chief Nursing Officer and VP of Patient Care Services at UVM Health Network - Central Vermont Medical Center, and previously led emergency, trauma, and transport services at CVMC and Connecticut Children's. He served as a Vermont State Senator (2009-2010) and sits on the Vermont State Board of Nursing.

Mike has more than 20 years in EMS and emergency nursing, the last 18 in the ED at the University of Vermont Medical Center, Vermont's only Level I trauma center. He lectures in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the Larner College of Medicine.

He is TNCC and ENPC course faculty and directs the Vermont EMS Conference and Stowe Updates in Emergency Medicine. A past President of the ENA Vermont State Council, he received ENA's 20 Under 40 Award and UVMMC's Excellence in Trauma Care Award.

Liz is Director of Emergency Services and Emergency Preparedness at Copley Hospital, a critical access hospital in north-central Vermont, with 17 years in emergency nursing and 24 in EMS.

Representing ENA, she helped write and pass Act 9, Vermont's law on preventing workplace violence in hospitals. She sits on the Vermont EMS Advisory Board and was named one of VermontBiz's Rising Stars: 40 Under 40 in 2025.

Erica has been an ED nurse at UVMMC since 2000, with a deep focus on pediatric emergencies. She's part of a Pediatric Outreach Team that brings pediatric readiness training to EDs across Vermont and New York.

A longtime PALS and ENPC instructor, she created the Pediatric Emergency Nursing Fellowship. Off shift: baker, reader, and cat collector.

Dez is a staff RN in the Copley Hospital ED and has volunteered for nine years at People's Health and Wellness Clinic, which provides free care to uninsured Vermonters.

As a former assistant nurse manager she built a peer mentorship program for new nurses, and she's passionate about healthy work environments. She lives in Montpelier and loves gardening, books, and knitting.
